It has been a while since we have seen a day with more than one or two severe thunderstorm/tornado warnings. Normally we would be stretching all the way back to last fall but this year we just look back to Late February.

Friday, severe thunderstorms will be possible especially across Southern Pennsylvania which is no surprise for this time of year. Storms will develop in Western PA just after noon and move east through Central and Eastern PA between 3-10 PM. Anytime in these seven hours, areas labeled under the marginal & slight risk could see storms.

Next week looks very active for not only the Plains but potentially our area. With that said, let’s get through Friday first. Here is our Severe Thunderstorm Threat Map.
