This winter in Northeast Pennsylvania, there will be many cold shots that will allow for plenty of opportunities for snow. We do expect there to be close calls with big storms just missing to south and east. However, a few big snowstorms are likely as usual. Several small to medium-sized events along with a couple big storms should get the area to near average in the snowfall category.

Be sure to share this outlook with your winter-loving friends and family! Also, we are having a big sale on all apparel on our store, including the shirt below. Click here to head over to our store to take advantage of the sale, as it will be ending on Wednesday.

Josh has been passionate about weather as long as his memory dates! From watching the Weather Channel at age 7, to making hand-drawn hurricane maps at age 11, starting his first weather site at 13, and founding PWA at 15 and forecasting for the state for the past 9 years, Josh's interest in weather has never dwindled! As difficult as it is, he greatly enjoys forecasting for Pennsylvania due to its countless microclimates. The state is an East Coast severe weather hotspot and nearly always home to the rain/snow line during winter storms!
