Another Storm Late This Week? Most Likely Not…

There have been many talks in the past few days regarding another storm late this week. We would like to calm them down because ALL models indicate the system will stay off the coast. Why? A flat piece of energy coming into the Pacific Northwest will compress our ridge out west. Also we don’t anticipate the Northern and Southern stream to phase until they are much north of our area. For these reasons, we do not expect a winter storm late this week. Things can still change but time is running out and models are consistent on an out to sea solution.
