For those that are waking up early this morning, you might be double checking the calendar to make sure that we are still in August! Many of us are waking up to crisp temperatures in the 40s and low 50s. Below is a look at our latest satellite imagery: 

Day 1

Today’s Weather Forecast: 8/10

Temperatures will only reach the 60s and low 70s today. A stray shower or two is possible during the afternoon hours, mainly across northcentral and northeastern Pennsylvania. Most locations will remain dry.

Hi-Res NAM Future Radar Valid for 5:00 PM: 

Below is a look at the Hi-Res NAM future radar valid for 5:00 PM this evening. The showers will be very isolated and like mentioned before, will likely only target areas across our northcentral and northeastern counties. 

Thursday’s Weather Forecast: 10/10

Thursday’s weather will arguably be the nicest day of the year so far. Mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the 70s with little to no humidity!

Friday’s Weather Forecast: 10/10

Friday’s forecast will be near perfect as well! Temperatures will generally be about five degrees warmer than Thursday. 

Sneak Peak into the Weekend:

Taking a look into the weekend, temperatures will slowly be on the climb with many areas reaching into the 80s both Saturday and Sunday. The better news is, high pressure will be in control, allowing for dry weekend!
