After a beautiful start to the workweek, today will be very similar. Starting off this morning looking at the satellite imagery, cloud coverage is minimal across the state:
Day 1

Today’s Weather Forecast: 10/10

Today will be a spectacular day with temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s across the state with plenty of sunshine. Enjoy it before the humidity returns Wednesday!

Wednesday’s Weather Forecast: 8/10

Humidity will be on the rise Wednesday with temperatures in the 80s to lower 90s. An isolated shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out for our western counties.

Fourth of July Forecast: 7/10

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across the state for our Fourth of July. With that said, most of the thunderstorm activity appears that it will occur during the daytime hours Thursday. Any Fourth of July fireworks Thursday night will hopefully be cleared from any thunderstorm activity.

Hi-Res NAM Future Radar Valid Early Thursday Morning:

Extending the future Hi-Res NAM radar to as far out as it goes, shows the potential for an early line of thunderstorms to impact the state Thursday morning. We expect more thunderstorms to develop as we head into the afternoon hours Thursday.

We will have plenty more updates regarding the Fourth of July forecast over the next couple days. Keep it here!
