It will remain warm and humid across the southern half of the state with a stationary front stalled just south of the region. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80’s, possibly touching 90 degrees in a few locations. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon into this evening. Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.  Across the northern half of the state, noticeably cooler and less humid conditions with temperatures ranging in the 70s to lower 80s.
