The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby will begin to impact the region this evening and continue into Friday. Eastern portions of the region and the higher elevations can expect steady rainfall with the potential for flooding.  Drier and cooler conditions are expected to follow.

Friday

Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the morning and early afternoon hours with clearer conditions in the overnight hours. Highs will be in the mid 80s to high 70s, lows will be in the low 60s to mid 50s. Winds direction will change as the day progresses starting in the east-northeast and ending out of the west, wind speeds will range between 7 to 14 mph with wind gusts approaching 25 mph. 

Rainfall totals could be drastically different throughout Western PA, with some area getting little to no rain and areas to the east potentially seeing 3-4 inches of rainfall.

 

Saturday

Sunny skies and cooler temperatures. Highs will range in the 70s, lows will range in the 50s. Winds will be out of the West at 5 to 15 mph, 20 mph wind gusts could be possible in the higher elevations.

 

Sunday

Sunny conditions are expected to continue. Highs will be mid to low 70s, lows will be in the mid to low 50s.
