A complex storm system is making a significant impact with heavy rain and snow across Pennsylvania today! Below is a look at the current radar:
Today’s Weather Forecast: 1/10
Heavy rain and snow is expected today state-wide. Most locations will see their high temperatures earlier in the morning, before temperatures rapidly crash as we head into the afternoon hours.

There will be a strong line of heavy rain and even thunderstorms that will push through the area west to east today. Behind this line, temperatures will begin to crash and as it does so, the rain will change to snow. Areas across western and central Pennsylvania have the best chance for accumulating snow. Meanwhile eastern Pennsylvania will see all rain and will also have the highest rain accumulations.
Thursday’s Weather Forecast: 4/10
Lake effect snow is likely across northwest Pennsylvania. However, the bigger story will be the bone-chilling cold temperatures especially across western Pennsylvania where temperatures will struggle to reach the low 20s for highs! Elsewhere temperatures are expected to only reach the low 30s with a mix of clouds and sunshine!
Friday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Friday’s weather forecast will be warmer, but still colder than average. A mix of clouds and sunshine can be expected with temperatures ranging in the upper 20s to mid 30s for highs.
