Today’s Weather Forecast: 6/10
Today will feature very hot temperatures with many areas soaring well into the 90s. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will develop especially towards the evening hours. These thunderstorms will have the potential for damaging winds in excess of 60 MPH.
Thursday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Thursday’s weather will be significantly cooler over the eastern part of the state. More showers and thunderstorms are possible.
Friday’s Weather Forecast: 8/10
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible Friday. Temperatures will generally be in the 70s across the state, with the exception being far western Pennsylvania, where temperatures will near 90 degrees.
Looking into Labor Day Weekend:
Taking a look into Labor Day Weekend, model guidance is currently in agreement that Saturday will feature widespread showers and thunderstorms. The good news is, we should begin to clear up by Sunday morning. Monday will be the nicest of the three days as it stands right now.

This is not a forecast, however the GFS model gives us a general idea on what kind of rain we can expect for Saturday. Again, this is for Saturday only. Many locations will see over a quarter inch of rain and in some cases, near an inch of rainfall.
