Post Memorial Day is here, and we are wrapping up May and heading into June this weekend. And it will feel nice outside increasingly as the week goes on.
COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPS
The first actual nice day this week will be Thursday if you are looking for abnormally cool temps in an otherwise hot time of year. In my opinion, today Tuesday is nice also. But the week will progressively get nicer as a drier airmass is in place.
HIGHS TODAY (TUESDAY)
Highs will be in the mid 80s for most with 90s for eastern SC and SE NC. It will still feel a bit warm out there today.
HIGHS WEDNESDAY
It will feel almost the same as today on Wednesday. If anything, the fact that it’s nice out will be more noticeable. Not exactly cool yet, but not overly hot or humid.
FIRST COOLER FEEL-LIKE THURSDAY
Thursday should be a gorgeous day if clouds don’t intrude. If we don’t make it past 81 F on Thursday, it will either be because a gorgeous airmass is in place, or there will be clouds. But we don’t expect clouds.
FRIDAY FEELS LIKE FALL
If we don’t get out of the 70s for May 31st, that will be mind-blowing. Although not too dramatic, the below normal daytime highs could make it feel more like September than late May!
CRISP AND COOL SATURDAY MORNING
When will the coolest feel be this week? Saturday morning. Widespread morning lows will be in the low to mid 50s! Along the coasts, enjoy the lower 60s but the coast doesn’t usually feel these slight swings as much.
