With the exception of pesky morning clouds across parts of the state yesterday, most of us saw a full day of sunshine. Today, we can expect much of the same. Take a look at this morning’s satellite below:
Today’s Weather Forecast: 9/10
Just about all of the state will experience a full day of sunshine. A scattered shower or storm cannot be ruled out across the northwestern counties. A very similar day to yesterday.
Wednesday’s Weather Forecast: 8/10
A disturbance will be bringing with it a chance for showers and storms across the western half of the state Wednesday. This does not appear to a washout by any means, instead mainly sunny skies with passing showers and storms from time to time. The rest of the state will remain clear.
Thursday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Cooler weather conditions are expected Thursday for many of us with the exception of southern and eastern Pennsylvania as the chance for scattered showers and storms increases. Once again, it does not appear to a washout.
Hi-Res NAM Future Radar Through Early Thursday AM:
The Hi-Res NAM model illustrates rather well what we can expect over the next couple days. Chances of showers and storms Wednesday into Thursday. Brief downpours are possible, but not an all day washout.
Labor Day Weekend:
Model guidance still remains a bit all over the place for this weekend. There does appear to be rain in the forecast. Sunday has the best chance to be rain free as of right now. We will be ironing out the details over the next several days. Keep it here!
