Today’s Weather Forecast: 6/10

The biggest story today will be the morning fog. After that, temperatures will warm well into the 50s for many areas. Chances for rain showers increase as we head into the evening and nighttime hours. 

Wednesday’s Weather Forecast: 1/10

A strong storm system will be impacting the state Wednesday. Many areas will see rain, even potential severe thunderstorms! As the system pushes through the area, temperatures will rapidly drop. The rain will turn into snow across western Pennsylvania and parts of Central Pennsylvania.

Hi-Res NAM Future Radar Valid 2:00 PM Wednesday: 

The latest Hi-Res NAM illustrates very well the potential for severe thunderstorms, especially across southeastern Pennsylvania, near Philly. Meanwhile western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh, has transitioned to a period of heavy, wet snow. 

Thursday’s Weather Forecast: 4/10

Thursday’s weather will feature bone chilling cold weather across the western half of the state with temperatures struggling to reach the 20s! The eastern half of the state will still be significantly colder than average, with high temperatures only reach the low to mid 30s.
