This morning’s cold front delivered less humid air to our region.   While temperatures will be well into the 80s this weekend, the low humidity will make it feel quite refreshing.

Thunderstorms over the last several days inundated some parts of our area with over 4″ rain!  The atmosphere wasn’t so generous to everyone, with under a quarter inch of rain along parts of the I-84 corridor.

3-Day rainfall ending 8am Thursday July 25:

FRIDAY

Friday will feature low humidity, sunshine, and refreshing temperatures.  Morning low temperatures will be in the 50s, with some of the colder spots enjoying lower 50s.  Along with the cooler air delivered from Canada, there could be some haziness from Canadian forest fire smoke.

SATURDAY

Morning low temperatures will once again be in the 50s, with lower 50s in the colder spots.   Most of the area will climb higher into the 80s with ample sunshine, but humidity will remain low.

SUNDAY

The low humidity with refreshing overnight temperatures will continue, although temperatures should climb well into the 80s with the ample sunshine.  And for those of you heading to Stroudsburg for Mady’s Snow Day,  expect to see snow falling sometime around or shortly after sunset.  Enjoy!

BEYOND SUNDAY (Mon-Fri July 29-Aug 2)

Monday will be dry with low humidity, but Tuesday through Friday will feature a return to the very-humid conditions we’ve just endured, along with numerous opportunities for thunderstorms.
