After experiencing a cool and damp start to the week, the weather quickly turns around to give us a “Summer Part 2” for this weekend. Temperatures will be much above average and the sun will be shining, so this weekend will be a great time to soak up the last remaining parts of summer before the fall weather returns for good.

Friday

The last remaining bits of rainy weather will linger early Friday morning for only some of the area, but will dissipate as the day goes on leaving partly cloudy skies and pleasant temperatures for the rest of the day. Highs in the mid to upper 60s, lows in the high 40s to low 50s.

Saturday

A high pressure system starts to dominate the area on Saturday, leaving the area with mostly sunny skies and temperatures that are a bit above average for this time of year. This kicks off a beautiful weekend, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, and lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunday

Sunday is really where we start to see the temperatures that are unusually high for this time of year. Highs will get to near the 80-degree mark for some towns, while others will stay in the pleasant mid-70s. Lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

A depiction of how high these temperatures are for this time of year is posted below.

Now may be your last chance to get out there and enjoy the sunshine for the year, make sure to plan something fun outdoors this weekend!
