Pennsylvania Weather Action was founded in Fall 2015 by Josh Adams, after originally covering the Northeast US for the previous two years and being chief forecaster of another prominent weather agency in Southern Pennsylvania.
PA Weather Action experienced rapid growth after being the first weather agency to accurately predict the Blizzard of 2016 nearly one week out, blossoming from a small source to quickly accumulating a following of over 30,000 people.
Throughout the last nine years, PA Weather Action has continuously provided crucial, accurate weather updates to Pennsylvanians. Josh’s forecasts are most known for their high attention to detail, superb design and easy to read format, and most of all – accuracy.
Pennsylvania Weather Action has accumulated over 220,000 followers as of November 2025, driven by passion for weather forecasting, superb design and readability, and consistency.
While Josh studied a major other than meteorology at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, he is very educated on the topic and consults with respected local meteorologists.
