Now that yesterday’s storm system has moved on out of the area, we are left with an arctic chill state-wide and lake effect snow across northwestern Pennsylvania. Below is a look at the latest radar: 

Today’s Weather Forecast: 4/10

Aside from the lake effect snow in northwest Pennsylvania, today will be mainly dry. However, winds will be howling and temperatures will struggle to make it out of the 20s for many areas. 

Today’s Maximum Wind Chill Values: 

Below is a look of just how cold today will be! These are projected maximum wind chill values for 1:00 PM this afternoon per the latest Hi-Res NAM model. A large portion of state will see wind chill values in the single digits, while southeastern Pennsylvania will be the “warmest” with wind chill values in the low to middle 20s. 

Friday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10

While temperatures will remain cold, the wind is expected to calm down by Friday. Temperatures will generally range in the upper 20s and low 30s for highs with a mix of clouds and sunshine.

Saturday’s Weather Forecast: 8/10

Saturday’s weather will continue the “warming” trend with temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s for most locations with a mix of clouds and sunshine.
