High pressure will continue to dominate the region bringing calm, clear conditions to start the weekend. Conditions will change as low pressure approaches.
Friday
Clear, sunny conditions will continue on Friday. Highs will range throughout the region between the mid 50s to mid 40s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 6-9 mph, higher elevations should see wind speeds in the low teens with gusts above 20 mph. Lows will be in the low 30s to mid 20s.
Saturday
A mostly clear start. Clouds and sky cover will gradually increase throughout the day as an area of low-pressure approaches bringing a slight chance for precipitation in the evening hours. Highs will be in the Low 50s to mid 40s. Winds will be out of the east-southeast at 9-15 mph increasing in the afternoon and evening hours. Higher elevations could experience wind gusts of 20-25 mph. Lows will be in the low 40s to mid 30s.
Sunday
Rain and breezy conditions are expected throughout the region all day on Sunday. Highs will be in the low 50s to mid 40s. Wind speeds will vary throughout the day ranging between 8-18 mph, wind gusts will range between 20-40 mph with the higher gusts experienced in the higher elevations. Lows will be in the low 40s to high 30s. Total rainfall will range between a quarter to a half an inch.
Rain will continue to impact the region on Monday, increasing the overall rainfall totals for the region.
