Cold weather continues this week with lake effect snow showers possible today, more widespread snow showers likely Wednesday night into Thursday morning from a clipper system. Below is a look at the current radar:

Today’s temperatures will be in the 30s to near 40 degrees with the chance for on and off snow showers and snow flurries. Outside of northwest Pennsylvania, little to no accumulation is expected.
Wednesday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Wednesday’s weather will be very similar to today’s. Temperatures will be in the 30s to near 40 degrees with a chance for on and off snow showers. A clipper system will arrive Wednesday night delivering more widespread snow showers to the area.
Thursday’s Weather Forecast: 6/10
Thursday’s weather will be very cold with temperatures only in the 20s and 30s for high’s. Widespread morning snow showers is likely thanks to a clipper system that will be impacting the area.

A clipper system will be delivering widespread snow showers to state Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. The best chance for at least an inch or two of snowfall will be across Western Pennsylvania with the best chance for several inches of snow will be across the Laurel Highlands. Elsewhere, a quick coating to an inch is possible.
