The recent oppressive heat is forecast to come to a brief end. The passage of a cold front will bring cooler, more comfortable temperatures and dry conditions to the region over the weekend.
Friday
Mostly sunny conditions will follow a slight chance for morning showers. Highs will range in the low 80s to low 70s, lows will be in the 50s. Winds will be out of the north-northeast at 5-10 mph.

Saturday
Clear and sunny conditions. Highs will range in the low 80s to low 70s, lows will be in the 50s. Winds will be light out of the northeast.

Sunday
Similar conditions continue with clear, sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid 80s to upper 70s, lows will be in the low 60s to mid 50s. A light, variable wind is expected around 5-8 mph.
