The recent passage of a cold front and breezy northwesterly winds will bring much cooler temperatures to the region this week, with high pressure bringing dry conditions. The fall’s first widespread frost is possible later in the week.

Tuesday

Mostly clear conditions. Highs will be in the mid to low 60s, lows will be in the low 40s to upper 30s. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph, wind gusts as high as 20 mph are possible in the higher elevations.

 

Wednesday

Sunny to mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid to low 60s, lows will be in the low 40s to mid 30s. Winds will be out of the west at 5 to 15 mph, wind gusts could approach 25 mph in some areas.

 

Thursday

Clear and cooler. Highs will be in the low 60s to mid 50s, lows will range in the 30s. Lower winds and clear evening skies bring the potential for frost Thursday night into Friday morning.
