While the bigger story this week will be the heat, there is also the chance for scattered thunderstorms the next several days. Below is a look at the current radar:
Today’s Weather Forecast: 6/10
HOT. We cannot stress enough the importance to stay hydrated and cool today. Temperatures will rise well into the middle 90s for many areas with real feel temperatures soaring past 100 degrees. A scattered thunderstorm is possible.
Tuesday’s Weather Forecast: 6/10
Tuesday’s weather will be very similar to today’s weather with temperatures in the upper 80s to middle 90s. Again please stay hydrated. A scattered thunderstorm cannot be ruled out.
Hi-Res NAM Future Radar Valid Through Tuesday Morning:
As we progress throughout the day, there is the potential for scattered thunderstorms today. Taking a look at the future Hi-Res NAM Radar below, it appears the best chance for thunderstorm activity will be during the evening hours today. Use the top left of the graphic below for time reference:
Wednesday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Wednesday will remain hot, however temperatures will just be a hair “cooler” than today and Tuesday. Temperatures are still expected to reach the upper 80s and lower 90s for most towns. More scattered thunderstorms are possible.
