Memorial Day 2022 Weekend Forecast: Starting Stormy Before Clear & Comfortable Weather

Weekends lately have featured anything but nice weather. Last weekend was a torch, and previous weekends featured cool and wet conditions. Memorial Day Weekend last year set the bar very low, as temperatures were in the 40s and 50s as the rain just kept falling. This year, Memorial Day Weekend will be much more pleasant.

We will start with some rain and storms on Friday, but not much in the way of severe weather. Highs will be around 70 degrees. Below is future radar for 2:00 PM Friday.

After Friday, it gets much better. There may be isolated showers and storms in Eastern PA on Saturday, but the rest of the state will be partly cloudy with highs in the 70s. Weather looks great for all outdoor activities besides swimming. Lows will dip into the 40s Saturday night across the mountains, so be prepared for that if you’re camping.

Sunday will be another fantastic day, with highs nearing 80 in the piedmont and 70s across northern and western Pennsylvania. Mostly sunny skies are expected overhead with a light southerly breeze.

Finally, Memorial Day will be sunny with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s and very light winds.

Overall, this weekend will be very nice besides Friday. Enjoy the unofficial start of Summer 2022!
