PA Firework Forecast for Saturday July 4th, 2020

Weather conditions look good for fireworks Saturday night across the state. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s to upper 70s at 9:30 PM, and skies are expected to be mostly clear. If there is any showers around, they will be very isolated in central PA. Humidity between 60-80% is expected, which may make colors appear slightly less vibrant, but higher humidity is nearly always guaranteed around that time of the evening in July here in Pennsylvania.

Winds are expected to be light, around 3 – 7 MPH, which may help slowly clear firework smoke. We will have updates to this forecast in the coming days if anything changes. Here is the statewide forecast map for 9:30 PM Saturday, July 4th, 2020.

Josh has been passionate about weather as long as his memory dates! From watching the Weather Channel at age 7, to making hand-drawn hurricane maps at age 11, starting his first weather site at 13, and founding PWA at 15 and forecasting for the state for the past 9 years, Josh's interest in weather has never dwindled! As difficult as it is, he greatly enjoys forecasting for Pennsylvania due to its countless microclimates. The state is an East Coast severe weather hotspot and nearly always home to the rain/snow line during winter storms!
