Right now we are tracking a low pressure system that will be impacting the entire area tomorrow. It is expected that there will be window of freezing rain at the onset for most areas across Central Pennsylvania tomorrow. While we do not anticipate major impacts from the freezing rain, it will be enough to cause a travel hazard. Below is a look at the latest advisory map issued by the National Weather Service which places many counties under a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain: 
The precipitation will begin across Southwest Pennsylvania first starting around 7:00 AM tomorrow morning. The rain and freezing rain will expand northeast and will reach Northeast Pennsylvania by 1:00 PM. The worst of the freezing rain is expected to be between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM tomorrow. Below is a look at 10:00 AM: 
Again the worst of the freezing rain is expected to be across Central Pennsylvania where up to a tenth of an inch of ice is possible. Advancing our future radar to 11:00 AM, the freezing rain continues to hold strong: 
Notice Western Pennsylvania in the 11:00 AM image. You can already see the plain rain/freezing rain line advancing eastward. We do expect the freezing rain to continue to about 12:00 PM, but once we reach the early afternoon hours, the freezing rain will change to a plain rain rather quickly. Below is a look at 2:00 PM: 
The rain will be heavy at times tomorrow and will linger for the eastern half of the state as a coastal low begins to take over. The rain will likely not shut off until after midnight Sunday morning. Below is a look at 8:00 PM: 
To sum it all up, expect a brief period (1 to 3 hour period) of freezing rain across the areas highlighted under the advisory map mainly between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. By the afternoon, most, if not all areas will be dealing with a plain rainfall.
