TUESDAY
A surface low will track through the Great Lakes tonight and into eastern Canada Tuesday, dragging a cold front and its associated showers across the region late tonight and during the morning hours Tuesday. The showers will exit our region before noon. Around a third of an inch of rain will fall from this system. Behind the front, there will be a gusty wind from the west during the afternoon.
Anticipated rainfall through Tuesday November 26:
WEDNEDAY
Wednesday will be dry with breezy conditions and slightly above normal temperatures for this time of year. Clouds will increase during the afternoon as another system approaches from the west. That system will spread rain and snow across our area Wednesday night into Thanksgiving.
THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving will feature rain and snow for most of our area, although the southern counties could be mostly rain. At this time accumulations look to be on the light side as temperatures will be marginal. As the system exits to our east on Friday, gusty west wind will usher in the coldest weather thus far this season for the rest of the holiday weekend, featuring widespread 30s for highs on Saturday and Sunday.
