Today features our best chance for many areas to observe thunderstorms over the next three days. Below is a look at the current radar as the thunderstorms begin to develop:
Today’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Scattered thunderstorms are likely today with temperatures in the 80s and low 90s. The National Storm Prediction Center has placed most of the state in a marginal risk for the thunderstorms to turn severe, with the main threat being damaging winds.
Saturday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
More thunderstorms are possible Saturday, although this time the thunderstorm threat will be isolated. Temperatures will generally range from the upper 70s to upper 80s across the state.
Hi-Res NAM Future Radar Valid through Saturday Night:
Below is a look at the latest Hi-Res NAM future radar showing the thunderstorm potential today and tomorrow. These thunderstorms have the potential to produce heavy rain and damaging winds in excess of 60mph. Use the top left of the graphic for time reference.
Sunday’s Weather Forecast: 8/10
Sunday will once again offer the threat for isolated thunderstorms. Very similar to the past couple days, these storms will be hit or miss. High temperatures will primarily be in the 80s.
