After days and days of extreme heat and in some cases, record-breaking heat, we finally will have a stretch of average to slightly below average temperatures. Storms from yesterday have moved on and skies are clearing up. Below is a look at the latest satellite imagery across the state:
Today’s Weather Forecast: 9/10
A beautiful day is expected today with temperatures in the 70s and 80s across the state. A major change from the near record-breaking heat the past several days.
Friday’s Weather Forecast: 10/10
Friday will feature perfect skies with temperatures in the upper 70s and 80s across the state. Humidity should not be an issue resulting in a perfect day for outdoor activities.
Saturday’s Weather Forecast: 8/10
While there is a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm, Saturday should remain mainly dry with temperatures in the 80s. An early look into Sunday suggests we will escape the weekend rain free!
Look into Next Week:
Taking a brief look into next week suggests that we will not have any heat waves anytime soon. While there may be a day or two that temperatures exceed 90 degrees, we do not see any sustained periods of excessive heat.
