Summer Heat Remains with Daily Chances for Showers and Thunderstorms

Heat advisories remain in effect for portions of Western PA. Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms are expected through the weekend.

Friday

Partly sunny and hot with chances for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be in the low 90s to mid 80s, heat index will approach 100 in some areas, lows will be in the low 70s to mid 60s. Winds will be out of the south-southwest at 5-10 mph.

Saturday

Partly sunny with multiple chances for showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid to low 80s, lows will be in the high to mid 60s. Winds will be out of the west at 5-10 mph.

Sunday

Mostly sunny with a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. Highs ranging in the 80s, lows will be in the high to mid 60s. Winds will be light and variable.
