Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for the higher elevations in Fayette and Westmoreland counties from 1 pm Monday to 10 am Tuesday. Snow accumulations between 2 to 5 inches are expected causing hazardous road conditions. A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for Somerset and Cambria counties from 1 pm Monday to noon Tuesday. Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected causing hazardous road conditions.

Tuesday

Overnight snow showers could impact morning commutes on Tuesday morning. Snow showers could be expected to continue in the morning hours on Tuesday. Colder temperatures are expected with some areas experiencing wind chill values as low a zero. Highs will be in the low 20s to high teens. Winds will be out of the west at 6 to 15 mph, wind gusts in the higher elevations could approach 25 mph. Lows will be mid to low single digits.

Wednesday

Sunny conditions will be expected throughout the region. Highs will be in low 20s to high teens. Winds will be out of the west at 11 to 17 mph, Wind gusts will range between 20 to 30 mph. Lows will be in the high to mid teens.

Thursday

Snow showers are expected to impact the region after mid-day and will continue in the overnight hours. Highs will be in the upper to mid 20s. Lows will be in low 20s to upper teens.
