The passage of a cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region on Friday and cooler temperatures throughout the remainder of the weekend.
Friday
Chances for rain showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, are likely in the morning and afternoon hours throughout the region on Friday. Highs will be in the mid to low 60s. Winds will be out of the south-southeast at 10 to 15 mph. Lows will be in the mid to low 40s.
Saturday
Cooler temperatures with clear conditions. Winds will increase as the day goes on. Highs will range in the 50s. Winds will be out of the west at 8 to 13 mph, increasing to 16-23 mph with wind gusts approaching 40 mph. Lows will be in the mid to low 30s.
Sunday
Partly sunny skies with another drop in temperature. Highs will be in the low 50s. Winds will be out of the west at 5 to 10 mph, wind gusts approaching 20 mph in the evening hours. Lows will be in the mid to low 30s.
