I suspect everyone enjoyed our usual weekend soaking on Saturday. If not, you’ll get another chance this weekend!
Today featured a residual broad upper-level trough over the Eastern US, producing a smattering of scattered showers over Northeastern PA, with some areas receiving up to a quarter of an inch today. Those of you in the lower elevations of the southern Poconos were spared those showers.
That upper-level trough will relinquish control during the next 48 hours, allowing dry and mild weather to return to our area Tuesday through Thursday. Another storm system will approach our area Friday into the weekend, bringing another opportunity for a soaking rain arriving Friday afternoon or evening and lasting into Saturday. Enjoy!
TUESDAY
Tuesday will feature variable clouds and seasonal temperatures, with perhaps a few isolated sprinkles for the northern areas near the NY state border.
WEDNESDAY
Wednesday will feature a continuation of seasonal temperatures and partly cloudy skies.
THURSDAY
Thursday will be an even warmer day with partly cloudy skies.
