Following a gorgeous weekend with highs reaching into the 70s on Saturday, winter is quick to enter the region this week. Snowfall chances are high for the northern part of the region and into New York, while the more central parts of PA may only see some flurries.

Tuesday

A freeze warning is in effect from 4 am to 9am on Tuesday, affecting southern Centre and Lycoming counties. Temperatures are expected to go below 32 degrees at this time. Highs in some areas are not expected to be above 40 degrees. Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

  Wednesday

Snow likely in regions to the north and west regions, flurries possible overnight in the entire area. Highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s, lows in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Thursday

Temperatures pick up slightly, getting to near 50. Mostly clear skies making for abundant sunshine. Highs in the low to upper 40s and lows in the low to upper 30s.

Now is a good time to break out the layers! Be sure to watch out for snow!
