Lake effect snow and snow showers will ramp up to end the week and heading into the weekend! Below is a look at the current radar:
Today’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Lake effect snow is expected across northwestern Pennsylvania today with temperatures in the upper 20s. Elsewhere, a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures generally in the 30s can be expected.
Friday’s Weather Forecast: 5/10
A disturbance will deliver a period of steady, light snow across southwestern Pennsylvania Friday morning. Lake effect snow will continue on and off throughout the day across all of western Pennsylvania.
Elsewhere, a mix of clouds and sunshine with a passing snow shower is possible. Temperatures will range in the upper 20s to upper 30s across the state.

As mentioned, a disturbance will deliver a period of light, accumulating snow across southwest Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh Metro Friday morning. A general 1 to 3 inches of snow is likely across all of southwest Pennsylvania.
Please keep in mind, lake effect snow showers will continue throughout all day Friday allowing for additional accumulations, especially across the Laurel Highlands.
Saturday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Lake effect snow will continue across northwest Pennsylvania Saturday, elsewhere a mix of clouds and sunshine is expected with temperatures ranging from the lower 20s to lower 30s.
