Increasing clouds and chances for rain as the week progresses. A stronger low pressure system will push through the region on Thursday bringing the possibility of high winds, heavy rain, and chances for severe thunderstorms.
Tuesday
Mostly cloudy skies with a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours, the chance for rain showers will continue overnight. Highs will be low 70s. Winds will be out of the south-southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Lows will be in the mid to low 50s.
Wednesday
Rain showers can be expected throughout the region on Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid to low 60s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Lows will be in the high to mid 50s.
Thursday
Showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Breezy conditions are possible as well. Heavier rains can be expected in passing thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 60. Winds will be out of the south at 12 to 17 mph, wind gusts as high as 45 mph are possible in the afternoon and early evening hours. Lows will range in the 40’s.
Rainfall totals thru Thursday could range between 1.5 and just over 2.25 inches throughout the region.
