Today’s Weather Forecast: 6/10
Early morning rain showers are likely as a cold front moves through the state. Winds will pick up behind the front, leading to scattered lake effect snow and/or rain showers across northwestern counties.
Wednesday’s Weather Forecast: 7/10
Wednesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures generally in the 40s across the state. Our next storm system will begin to approach from the west leading to a mix of rain and snow showers entering in the western third of the state by Wednesday night.
Thanksgiving Day Forecast: 4/10
Widespread snow is likely across the northern tier, specifically north of interstate 80 during the morning hours. Several inches of snow is possible, making for a white Thanksgiving. The southern half of the state will just see plain rain showers. Temperatures will range from the 30s to the 40s for highs.

Below is a look at the Hi-Res NAM Future radar valid for 7:00 AM Thanksgiving morning. A low pressure system will bring with it plenty of moisture to the state Wednesday night into the first half of the day Thanksgiving. The northern half of the state will likely see accumulating snow Thanksgiving morning, especially north of interstate 80.

The southern half of the state will likely remain all rain this time around, however even the rain will cause impacts.
