The passage of a low pressure system will bring a chance for accumulating snowfall to the southern portions of the region to start the weekend.

Friday

Mostly cloudy conditions will lead to snow showers in the evening and overnight hours. Highs will be in the upper to mid 30s. Winds will be out of the West at 9 to 15 mph. Lows will be in the low 30s. Snowfall totals for the area can be found on the PA Weather Action Snowfall Forecast.

Saturday

Snowfall is expected to continue into the morning hours for the southern portions of the region. A transition in the afternoon hours will bring sunny skies and breezy conditions. Highs will be in the low 30s to upper 20s. Winds will increase throughout the day. Winds will be out of the west at 9 to 15 mph, wind gusts will be between 20-25 mph, with some areas approaching 30 mph. Lows will be in the mid to low 20s.

Sunday

Mostly sunny, windy conditions will be experienced throughout the region on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid to low 30s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 20 mph.  Lows will be in the low 20s.

Gusty conditions are possible throughout the day, especially in the morning and afternoon hours.
